Ecos da Alta — Illustrations
Illustrations created for the Ecos da Alta intergenerational storytelling project, translating interviews and workshop moments into a coherent visual language.
Context
These illustrations were created as part of Ecos da Alta, an intergenerational storytelling initiative developed in Alta Lisboa. The visual work supported workshop sessions and public communication, helping transform personal narratives into shareable, accessible artifacts.
The intent was to keep the language warm and human, while staying readable in small formats (posters, social posts, exhibition signage). Characters, gestures, and simplified compositions were used to convey memory, place, and connection without relying on heavy text.
Visual direction
- Human-centered scenes: faces, posture, and everyday details as narrative anchors
- Simple shapes + clear silhouettes for strong legibility
- Soft color choices to match the reflective, intimate tone of the stories
- Compositions designed to scale from thumbnail to print
